Welcome to VEX.blue 2.5

It's been a long month without any updates on VEX.blue or any new articles releasing on our part, I can only say sorry for not keeping you upto date with what's been happening.

If you'd like to know there's been a huge update in the works to try and make sure the website is still updatable in the future, with me looking into possibly using PHP or React in the future of the website for easier updates in the future.

This is all due to me currently building each page of the site with re-used code of every-other page on this site, such as the navigation & footer being the same code but needing to be redone eachtime, this means that if something in the navigation or footer needs to be updated, I need to update it on all 50 pages of the website so far (if not more in the future).

The other thing that has kept me busy in the recent month is a bit of personal issues, but i'm glad to say that I am slowly healing and hopefully will be okay eventually. Either way onto the update notes.

Update Notes

1. Fixed Video Editing Portfolio Pages to be categorised as Video on Search Engines.

2. Added 'Creek Events' Homepage as a 'test site' for the 'Basic Websites' service

3. Fixed Author URL to link to Sam's page

4. Fixed VEX.blue Fediverse URL link at bottom of pages due to moving to app.southampton.social lately instead of southampton.social (as it's shutting down January 1st, 2025)

5. Added (2) episodes of Trakt Insider Podcast (RSS & Pages)

6. Added (3) episodes* of Beyond The Blurb Podcast (RSS & Pages)

7. An audio player has been added for podcast episodes playback on our site

8. Added (1) episode of the VEX podcast

9. Donation like to articles added - You can now donate to the author of the article (personally) through paypal
